Lieing and decieving employee practices

I was hired on by Waltz Business Solutions to work as a Network Coordinator for St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Because of incompetence, unfriendliness, and unprofessionalism in the workplace at St. Elizabeth's I was let go in 4 days. (For further info, refer to my consumer complaints on St. Elizabeth Medical Center.)

My hiring agent at Waltz discussed and emphasized his disgust with St. Elizabeth's for the situation. HE said he didn't quite understand why they didn't give me a chance in the workplace, and that he was going to try and save my job. He went to speak to the supervisor, which apparently told him a blatant outright lie of what happened during my time at St. Elizabeth's, because he seemed peeved and upset when talking to me on the phone.

However, before he left, he told me to file for unemployment if I couldn't get my job back because Waltz never turns down unemployment.

So, I filed for unemployment that day (which was a Friday). I was told I was eligible to file for my first unemployment check on the 27th of May, which I did. 2 weeks went by, and I never received my unemployment. I didn't think anything of it, because I thought they may have deducted $830 I received from a 1 week's severance from the company.

So, I filed on the 8th of June when I was eligible again. Waited the whole week, never received the check. I also called the hotline for unemployment to understand that my request had been accepted, but that a check was not sent out. I thought nothing of it, other than I was going into the unemployment office on Monday to figure out the problem. I thought it may have been a clerical error of some sorts or an error on my behalf causing the delay (s).

Saturday the 13 of June rolls around, and I get a letter in the mail from the State of Kentucky and the Department of Education and Workforce. Waltz tried to deny my unemployment because of Misconduct, which is eligible for denial of unemployment benefits. The first thing I thought was about how Mike (the hiring agent from Waltz) blatantly and purposely LIED to my face!

The sad thing is, because of my proof (which was stated in the consumer complaints) that I filed when filing for unemployment, they lost the case, and I am eligible to receive benefits! It was a win situation for me, but I did want to report on how the people at Waltz really don't care about the people that get laid off through them. Especially when you try to explain that you have a mortgage, car payment, mouths to feed at home... They really don't care, and will tell you ANYTHING to just get out of their faces.

They may do business with the Cincinnati Reds, but that doesn't mean their employees are capable of doing their work effectively. It just means their CEO and Sales people know how to effectively do their jobs.

Stay away from them and do not trust anything they say. They are there to make money and could care less about the people they employ, their well-being, and they will LIE straight to your face and look you in the eyes when doing it. They won't even blink. If they do that with their employees, I really hate to see how they treat their clients.

You reap what you sew, Waltz! Thanks for lieing to my face, but no thanks. Just pay your taxes and stick it!
