HP Does Not Honor Product Warrantees

I have already written it on one of those STOP SCAM WEBSITES but would be happy to share with the group.

Basically, i have an hp laptop that crashed from a hacker attack and for three days i worked with the hp staff to fix it but they told me to ship it in to the service center. This is where the story really begins. I just brought the product and it came with a one year warrantee. Well hp kicked and screamed every time i would call for help under the warrantee. They would alway try to sell me additional coverage the entire time. Finally when i had to get it fixed at their shop they called me and they told me that it was damaged because something was spilled on it and if i wanted them to fix it i would have to pay $800 dollars (exactly what i paid for the computer)
this is a scam hp pulls on customers because they want them to buy technical help coverage they do not want to honor their initial contract they showed this to me every time i called as they would always send me around on the call forward loop until an hour would go by before someone would actually try to help me. They always asked the same questions each time a new person answered the phone and then when the computer finally was not recoverable they said "ok ship it to us and we'll fix it" they had it two days and called me back to tell me i or someone spilled something on the computer and therefore it was not covered under the warrantee.
I even wrote the svp of technology (as i had worked with him and his director) at hp telling them what happened and i filed a complaint with the ftc.
Hp suddenly called me and told me they were going to have the computer looked at by a "regulatory engineer" in houston. They shipped it to me and i shipped it to houston. After a month i called several times finally after i was able to get though to my case manager's aid she told me that she would make sure the case manager called me back.
This is where it bacame obvious they had no intention of fixing the computer it was a rus. The woman called me back and said, "oh it had to be sent to a lab for analysis and i don't know how long that will take"
the very next day she calls me and says i got the report and it states that the substance on the computer is milk. Well i don't drink milk i am lactose intoralant.
I don't believe they even took the computer out of the box. Now i have to fight them again this time i am gong to take it to california state for consumer protection plus several other government
agencies and stop scam websites.

Please be aware hp does not honor their warrantees when you buy their products, instead their customer support reps are directed to talk you into buying technical support coverage for 149 dollar per year. This is the whole scam they. It is not cost effective for them to fix a computer they sold for $800 dollars unless they get additional money for the technical support.

But to get you to buy the computer (just like every other computer vendor) they warrantee the product for one year. That's fine if the company honors their warrantee

But hp does not honor their warrantees!!!
