I tried setting up dial up service for my mother but after repteated calls to the "support" people somewhere in India, I gave up and canceled the service.
For months and months after, I kept getting charged on the credit card, each time I called to cancel they promised to "take care of it", and every time, there it was on my credit card bill again the next month.
But I think I finally got it stopped.
How? I just asked for a supervisor and mentioned "complaint".. And all of a sudden I had their complete attention. I'm following up with a report to the bank handling the credit card just to make sure...
