Efax is a rip off! I paid for a full year plus service membership and was informed that includes 30 pages each month to send and 130 received pages. After three months they began automatically charging my account without authorization. I had set up automatic email billing notification and received nothing.
When contacting customer service (not available by phone - chat room only) I was given the run around. They claimed my plus membership cost ten cents per page to send and after pushing for verification (since contracts available online all showed updated in Feb and my membership was in Dec) they then told me I exceeded my limit for the month and was charged the monthly "pre-paid pages" fee. I stated I wanted to cancel my service and they began offering me the same benefits I was suppose to have with the plus service, free 30 sent pages/month and free 130 received pages/month.
Out of the ten times I used the service, clients called three times with faxes that would not go through.
No refunds, no live customer service, sales department in foreign country, unreliable service, unauthorized withdrawls
