EBay seller "Varna77" (AKA "Turnkey Pages.com) promises to set you up in an "established web business." What he DOESN'T tell you is that this all comes at a far greater cost than is advertised, and he then charges your PayPal account for all extra hidden charges incurred when buying the website. (i.E. "traffic services" that supposedly bring more traffic to your website, server charges, and miscellaneous fees.)
I bought a computer supplies business from Mr. Dektor in April.
IMMEDIATELY after the sale, you are sent an e-mail telling you that in order to get instructions on how to start the website, you must FIRST give positive feedback (This should have been my first clue..)
I bought the server service (which I was told was a one-time fee) for the website and tried in vain to get the website to work. I am an Information Technology Student and this whole configuration was very VERY hard to figure out, including the percentage of markup, and accepted payment methods. I tried to contact customer service, but they stopped answering my e mails and calls, so I was pretty much on my own. I set up my website and waited for the business to pour in. It didn't. I was charged for 1500 traffic leads that I didn't authorize (It took PayPal forever to get this cleared up) and just last week, I was charged once again for server services that I was promised were a one-time only fee.
Several things I discovered from this transaction with this particular seller and several other E Bay members was that
1The seller sells a copious number of these "sites" with the same setup. Anyone can tell you that there is such a thing as "oversaturation".
2. The drop-shipping charges used by the websites supplier (which also has the same Miami Address) is far, far greater than usual drop-shipping sites.
So if you're in the market for a turnkey web business, PLEASE save yourself a lot of trouble and go somewhere else. It will be a lot cheaper and user-friendly
