First, see report 283137 on this site for similar complaint.
My computer died, needing a new HD. So I went with JAZ because they had the same drive that my Mac Mini shipped with. Since I ordered on a Friday morning, I imagined that I'd receive a tracking # later that evening.instead:
1. Received call 3 days later w / out of stock notice.
2. Talked me into different HD.
3. Gave me an invalid tracking number.
4. Had to email them days later to actually send the pkg.
To be fair, they did call and make sure that I was okay with being shipped a different drive. But then it seems like they forgot to send it until I emailed every email on the site including the mgmt. If I could have found the same drive at Newegg where the shipping times are unbelievably predictable, I would have.
Don't order from JAZ if you: (a) want what you ordered (b) delivered in less than 13 days.
It also makes me a little wary that someone would publish a website and start running a business without even trying to flesh out their 'About Us' page. I'll definitely go with a much larger and more established company in the future. I'm just glad I didn't pay extra to have it shipped overnight.
