I ordered the Columbo tv series from Planetdvd.com for 69.99. The site looks very professional with hundreds of dvd collections, some of which are listed on sale. They guarantee customer satisfaction.
The collection was to include 25 dvds. Only 19 were included and several of these did not play. The ones that did were obviously recorded from television and were of very poor quality. The case was also cheap and defective.
The company does not respond to emails. I have looked back over several other complaints on usacomplaints.com and have noticed that they seemed to have changed their name at least 3 times over the past 2 years, but have always had similar complaints as mine.
I wish I had known about the ripoff website sooner so that I could have saved myself some money. Live and learn, but I will make it a habit to do more research in the future.
