Upon the advice of a popular tech magazin on the web, I contracted with CyberDefender to protect my computer.initially the fee was $79.00. However they needed to enter my computer and the $79.00 was to be credited back to my credit card right away.
The Same fellow named in other complaints Sandeep, upgraded my coverage to a two year contract and charged my other credit card $299.00.
They were unable to provide the coverage as described. They were unabel to protect my computer as promised.
It was stated that I did indeed have ten (10) days to opt out. I did so in three (3) days.
Then the problems came to light, they indeed are not as advertised.
They have not credited the money promised, and the amount makes this a major crime now and no longer a case of computer fraud.
Please provide me with the names and addresses of any and all law enforment authorities I need to contact.
Also, I do not wish to remain a victim, If anyone else wants to join in a cause with me to protect other innocent persons and to file a civil suit so that we might regain our funds I would be interested.
But, please by all means I do need to know which agancies to contact in California, These people must not be allowed to continue with this sort of activity. How is it that no one has moved to take action so far? Please respond with the info I need to create all necessary reports.
I never erase nor discard any business information, also I do have their phone number locked into my cell phone from the 17th of February when Sandeep telephoned me to say he was crediting my account.
I look forward to any and all information, also I noticed the names of all owners had been listed by another person, how would I reach the stock exchange listed in order to take some action there. I will notify any and all. This really must be curtailed.
