Monday, we had to reimage three computers that were wiped because somebody here opened an attachment that came in yahoo mail and we suspect it was something just like this.
Tuesday, three more were wiped and wednesday, we nearly lost three more!
It knocks your computers off the internet and makes a mess of their guts. We are still analyzing whether it was a worm or a virus...
Whatever it was, our antivirus system was unable to stop it and it is generally considered state of the art.
So you are warned about this.
Even if your protection is working and you can get this open, it will be a bogus offer about a bogus effort by the nigerian government offering you compensation as a victim of the nigerian internet fraud schemes... Which, of course, it is not.
It is another rip off!
One way or the other!
