I paid for a lifetime membership for this site, believing I was paying for access to a legal movie database. What I found was info telling me what freeware to download to search for movies. I already know how to do that. All this company does is point you to free software and charges you for the info. You are completely on your own to find movies, just as if you are if you didn't sign up. Then they have a customer support email link that doesn't work. I managed to pick the email out of the form and contacted them asking for a refund. All I received in return was instructions how to download freeware. I kept responding that I wanted my money back, and all I received was more useless information about using the site. I think they are automated responses. So don't expect any human contact from them. I decided to go to the people who processed the order, which is ClickBank, a separate company.
When I contacted ClickBank, I had no problem getting a refund. I just had to give them my order number. They say it will take 5 days for it to be returned to my card, but the customer service rep didn't seem surprised at all that I cancelled it. Don't bother with this company themoviesdownload. They have nothing to offer in the way of movies. A scam of the worst kind.
