Do NOT accept their "Free" trial unless you want to pay $96.25 or return the "Free Trial" producrs you received! IQ Derma.com offers a 30-day "Free" trial of its Ageless Face System. The word "Free" is emphasized several times in the ad. However, if one signs up for the "Free" trial, one is also agreeing to pay for the products if one doesn't return them within 30 days. I thought I was giving my credit card info for the shipping and handling charge, to which I agreed. However, one month later they billed my credit card $96.25 for these "Free" trail products.
Again the next month, they billed my credit card another $96.25. They claim they have sent a second month's worth of products, but I have not received them. They also claim that the page where one enters one's credit card info explains the customer is going to be charged ad infinitum if they don't return the "trial" products. They agreed that I can return the ordered second shipment of products unopened and the charge will be credited back to my credit card.
They refuse to refund the first $96.25, daying it is past the 30-day trial period. I want to urge people to not accept their "Free" offer. I qould like to see them forced to ezplain with the word "Free' that it is not free and must be returned if one does not want to be charged the exhorbitant price.
Their ad also prominently displays the "Guarantee" of "younger looking skin"; yet in its policies and procedures, they then disclaim any warranty:
