I won $14,000 USD online casino but they only paid me $5,000! Sandefjord Netherlands

I was playing at the Tigergaming online casino during Novermber 2008. Over the period of 2 weeks I managed to accumulate $14,000 USD in winnings. This amount was won over several positive days and sessions in the casino within that 2 week timeframe.

When I went to cashout, there were various delays in the approval of my payout request. First it was approved, then not and awaiting security clearance. Then after 3 weeks of waiting for confirmation, I was told at the end of November that they are waiting for a 'casino report' that would take a "long-time" to process.

Finally after several emails back and forth, their report came back. They refused my payout of $14,000 USD and instead only paid me $5,000 USD. This was their reasoning (cut and pasted from their supervisors email):

I have been able to get the complete data of your transactions within the casino and can clearly see that the casino bug that we found has affected your winnings. The free spins that you receive was the error and when this malfunctioned it has provided more free spins than shouldhave been.

I can completely understand that this is not your fault and you probablydid not know about this error at the time but with the terms and conditions confirming that winnings are void if a bug/error is found in the casino.

I still want to provide you with some money and compensation for the time you have been waiting from us and I am willing to refund all your deposits from October and November which comes to $*. As compensation on top of this I will bring that amount up to $5,000 as a lump sum and wire this money to your bank account.

I am sorry that this has taken so long to resolve, but I hope you understand that we needed to verify everything before we gave you any concrete information on this bug. This bug has been completely fixed and I hope that you do continue playing with TigerGaming.

This is a RIPOFF! I have been frauded by this supposedly reputable online company.

A supposed bug was in their system. Did they shut down the site? NO! Did they keep allowing deposits from your creditcard onto their site? YES!

This is a BS excuse to keep my winnings from me!

Stay away from this company and online group of thieves! Has anyone else had any problems with Tigergaming?
