I ordered a hands-free cell-phone kit from CelTek after seeing it advertised on TV for $19.95 plus S&H. The order was placed on 2/11/01 and $39.95 was removed from my bank account on 2/20/01.
After not receiving my product by April I e-mailed CelTek at their website [email protected] to find out what the hold up was. They e-mailed me that due to the popularity of the hands free kit, they were back-ordered but my order "would be sent out by the end of the week."
After a couple of weeks I contacted them again and received another e-mail with a contact phone number. I spoke to Anthony who said he would check things out. The next contact from them told me they didn't know anything about my order and good luck!
By the way, smooth talker Anthony wormed his way out answering why I was charged $39.95 rather than $19.95; I guess he didn't know anything about that either. The company handling my order is also known as E. Mishan & Sons, Inc.in New York City and EmsonTV. They handle all sorts of stuff sold via TV ads similar to the asseenontv website.
I'm really angry that this slimey company is making tons of money off honest people and getting away with it. This report is one of many tools I am using to warn others about CelTek, EmsonTV, [email protected], E. Mishan & Sons.inc., and maybe even get my money back or the freakin product I ordered in February.
