During one order of cards which took a couple hours to design, this company enrolled me in FOUR membership programs on two different websites that would automatically take money from credit card despite a promise instead to send a $10 check in 3-4 weeks. I didn't even know I was enrolled in so many programs until I called to check on why I couldn't find info on getting that refund. Furthermore, the shipping charges were excessive: $26 to get the cards in 2-3 days, $14 for delivery in a week.
I had to call two companies to cancel my forced memberships, and one of them is clearly set up to discourage contact.in order to complete the phone call, I was instructed to enter my phone number (or social sec. #, I forget which), my 12 digit account # from VistaPrint, and my credit card # — just to contine the call. And, if you punch 0 to get help from a person, you are sent back to the beginning of the message until the third time you try it. Clearly, these people don't want to talk.
When I got through, the woman, Courtney, informed me that I had THREE memberships underway now and she'd cancel them all, but her computer was being slow. It took a long time and I just trust that they are cancelled. The other woman at VistaPrint's phone number said they were separate from VistaRewards — not separate enough I think.
