I am a stay at home mom and was constantly on a search for a job so I could stay home with my child. I came across jobsformoms.com and thought my prayers had been answered! I spent the fee the register for the site and got busy looking for jobs.
While I didn't find anything, there were never any problems with the site until last month. When I tried to log in, I was kicked out saying there were problems with my account. I made sure my membership was still good and it showed I was paid up until Sept. 2009. I sent the company an e-mail asking about the problem. About a week and a half later, I get a long e-mail telling me that there are concerns with how my account was being used.
The company wanted a copy of my resume, how many times I clicked on different link, where else did I access their site from, and what was my purpose in joining the site, just to name a few things. I was beside myself! They also told me that if I didn't answer them within 24 hrs., I would not have access to my account.
I told them that I was not going to give them all of this because I didn't have to do it when I initially signed up and that I didn't feel comfortable. They responded telling me that it was up to me and that I wouldn't get a refund.
I wish there was a way for me to get my money back, but I don't know of one. Right now I just hope I can keep someone else from giving these people anymore money.
