For several years I had CyberDet 7, Yesterday I signed on to the service to use. I was prompted to update to the new CyberDet 8, After a 30 minute download from the site. The install wizard prompts you to completely delete CyberDet 7 before CyberDet 8 can be installed. I did so. CyberDet 8 is a corrupted download and cannot be installed. Since I uninstalled CyberDet 7.. I can no longer get to the website I bought to use.
There is no e-mail contact for this service and a search of telephone records for their business comes up a blank. I guess I just lost my $29.99. CAUTION!!!
It's a huge download (CyberDet 8).. And it does nothing but take up room on your hard drive. If you have CyberDet 7... Do not delete it. Or you will lose your program and investment.
