In September one of their sales people contacted me about a free, no obligation toner. I did mention that we already had a vendor that we deal with, but he said that he would ship this toner, free of charge and that he would contact me at a later date to see if everything was working smoothly. He was polite, friendly and had a positive demeanor. I received the toner and had it set aside until needed. On December 26th, I received an invoice for $249.99 for the "free" printer toner. I tried called their 1-800 number and got their voicemail. Of course, I was unable to leave a message since their mailbox was stated as being full (probably full of complaints). After reading numerous posts on here about National Imaging Systems, Inc, I thought it would be of best interest to not have any direct communication with this company.
Our legal team has been contacted. I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and am sending back the unused toner.
Lesson learned and as the old saying goes... Nothing in this world is free.
