Ok, Well i got clearwire in about may of 08' and it was decent for web browsing. But when i tried to stream videos or Play online games (which is what i mainly use the computer for) its horrible. I play online shooters competitivly, and when i had dsl with bellsouth i was locked in at about 78 latency (ping). With clearwire its anywhere from 250 latency which means really bad performence in the gaming world. I was pretty much booted from my competitive team (which recently won a national tournament and is headed for china. Thanks clearwire.)

I have been on the phone with tech countless times. I always get the same response, its my double paned windows or did i try moving my modem. I have been told that im close to one of their towers but yet the connection is spotty at best and never consistent.

But thats not even the worst part. When i first got the service the sales rep told me i had five buisness days to cancel. When i called on the fifth day i was told I only had three buisness days to cancel. And that it would cost me 250$ to cancel.

When i explained that the sales rep told me that this service was if u can beleive it "ideal" for online gaming the tech guy actually chuckled. I than explained that the speed of their service isnt anywhere close to the "dsl like speed" i was promised. He suggested i upgrade.

In short guys Im wondering is there anything i can do to get out of my contract. Because at this point im very close to canceling my debit card and washing my hands of clearwire.
