I cancelled my AOL service 3 wks. Ago and a debit transaction was submitted 1 wk before cancellation. I just called approx. 1 wk. Ago to reconfirmed that there would not be any additional charges taken and they (AOL customer service) said it was cancelled.
I have just received a notice from my bank stating that I was charged $79.99 via netmarket. I did not order anything (via online) and while reading your RIP-off report I notice someone stated about the fitness.com.
I only viewed this website I didn't order anything. I will not recommend AOL for anything and I've also tossed their "free AOL service CD's in the garbage.
Prior to this I'd give them to friends to try out, never again.
