I had done some business with captures and was not happy because my site was doing nothing so I was trying to get my money back. Because, of course, they promise you that you can't loose money. But, Scott, sweet talked me into a fabulous website that couldn't loose. He knew people in corporations just waiting for my website to be up and running so they could order gifts for their employees or someone.
I worked to find dropshippers, paid in some cases for the priviledge for me to have their products on my site. Spent endless hours loading products. Kept doing the sending to search engines, which they said I had to do. Unfortunately, they did not tell me that I had to open a merchant account, which is now costing me $45 per month and I can't cancel it without paying a $2-300 fee, which they did not tell me about, but this was the merchant account they sent me to, but they didn't know anything about the fee.
I have no customers, I am paying $139.99/mo. To captures for building my site which I already paid over $3000 for plus what I had already investing in my first website with them, which did nothing. And I have to pay $45 for a merchant account that has never been used.
This, Scott, promised me I could not loose money. I have tried to get out of my contract. One person told me it was my own fault I wasn't making money. And that Scott would never have promised me that I would make money or my money back. Visible.net won't even return my email to them.
How many months do they think someone can keep putting money in and getting nothing out? I now have a website with a company that I am making good money with and need to put my time and effort into it not some company that lies, makes false promises, blames the client, and basicly does not help at all.
I just want my money back and out of my so called contract which only benefited them.
