I came across this Data Entry Made Easy website by accident. I was actually searching for an herbal product and when I hit the link it simply pulled up a list of company advertisements.
I happen to see the ad for DEME and it seemed really interesting. I have a friend who does medical transcription at home (she went to school for that), and I thought it would be great to make some money since I'm a stay at home mom.
The ad seemed great. It basically talked about how other companies are legitimate it that they don't operate that way.in fact, it said that it wasn't a get rich quick scam, but you could make descent money working online. He said his first check was for $189.00. I was impressed. Usually you see checks for $10,000 - $100,000. I thought, this guy must be legit showing his little check. Well, I was wrong.
I've know about this site for a couple of years and always research it here before I buy. You don't know how many times I would have bought something if not for this site. Anyway, for some reason, I don't have any idea why, I didn't come to this site before purchasing.
I was so excited. I could set my own hours and still make descent money. Well I joined and guess what? Yep, I realized right away that it was all a scam. The links they give you are to more products like this that cost more money. The surveys were a joke. You join and do surveys, but you don't actually get paid, that is, unless you win out of the drawing that consist of everyone who completes the survey. It said you could also do investment free work. Well that was a joke too. They give you a list of even more companies that want more money. The only true way to do this for free is to post free classifieds, trying to get others to join under you.
I was furious. I emailed they within days of getting the program and requested a refund. I was sent an email to try something else before getting the refund. The link was a bunch of the same bull.
This company is a fraud and a scam. Do not order this product!!!
I sent another email demanding my money back per their guarantee. I told them that they had 1 week to credit my card or I would be disputing the charge with my credit card company and filing a complaint with the BBB, FTC, FCC, and the attorney general.
The next day, I was sent an email stating I was getting a refund, but it may take up to 5 business days to post. Again, I still didn't believe it because I saw some reports here where they were promised a refund and didn't receive it.
I logged onto my credit card company today, and the credit went through. I was in shock that I actually got my money refunded. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones and I've definately learned my lesson. Thank you all for being here. I don't think you realize how many people are save from being ripped off just by searching the product here before buying.
