Aaris net was my internet service provider for a short time early last year. They require a credit card so they can bill you each month. The first few months went fine with no problems, then they started to disconect my service because they said my card information was invalid.
This happened 3 times before I ran out of credit cards and patience... There was nothing wrong with my cards, they all were paid off each month! Plus, I had to find someone else to write the e-mail to aaris.net stating I had no service, because they would terminate it without warning.
The first sign I had each month that the card didn't work was them turning off my service.
Finally, I had enough. I wrote a request for termination of my account with aaris.net, this was what they wrote back:

We are sorry that you are leaving us. Per your request, your account with will be terminated within 24 hours. All dialup, email, and domain names will be deleted within this time frame. Final months are not prorated.
Thank you for the time you have spent with Aaris.net.
AUTOMATICALLY GENERATED MESSAGE, PLEASE DO NOT REPLY
Since that e-mail, they have been billing me every month for a service that I don't haveand I was not under a contract to stay for any period of time. The interesting thing is that now, they are having no problems billing my credit card!
I have tried calling their customer service line to complain and have spent hours on hold. I have never gooten through to a person! I have sent numerous e-mails to their billing and customer service representatives. They have continuously passed me around always telling me that I need to be contacting some one different.
Finally I got a response in December that they would discontinue billing as a courtesy, but that they don't feel that they owe me for the 6 months in between that they have been charging me! I am furious! I don't know what else to do... I guess my money belongs to them now... But don't let yourself get caught in their web! They will not let you out!
