I received an email from eliteinvestment.net saying they wanted to buy a domain of mine. He asked me how much I wanted for it and sent me a link to a forum: http://domainblog. 007sites.com/Archiv/419685.htm. This lead me to pay 60 for an appraisal with easynamesale.com.
The valuation came through the next day which I forwarded to him. He was straight back saying he'd try and find a buyer and would then be in touch.
I really thought he would be until I read reports on this site about the workings of the easynamesale scam and saw the parallels...
Lesson: if something looks too good to be true it probably is.
