Anything for more of your money

"We pledge allegiance to the cash of the United States of America. And for your dollars, of which we demand - one profit, unto us, indicisively, with swindling injustice to all..."

Sounds tacky, doesn't it? It should - unfortunately, it's also the sad truth of the would-be computer training school of "TechSkills". If you are seeking an honest, hands-on computer education course with real help available as needed, you would do very good to look elsewhere (community college or continuing education, for example, and even then it would be good to do some in-depth homework regarding the instructors, to find out for sure what you'll be getting into, and to find out when the right ones are having their classes). If you don't mind being taken for every penny that you've worked so hard for, then welcome to a H* in which Satan himself will take you for one hell-of-a-ride. If you survive, as it were, it is most likely because: A) you already knew these courses inside out, and didn't need any actual help (so why would you take them?), or B) you were lucky enough to get help from your peers, as the 'teachers' here are not that helpful at all, either by choice or by loss of brain cells (or, as in my case, they claimed not to know anything about the program I was enrolled in, in which case you have to wonder why they are in the position of "teacher" to begin with). I can't remember a time when I didn't have to 'hunt them down' for assistance, though they claim to be quite helpful and readily available (what a crock).in short, if you are brave (and hopefully not naive) enough to enroll here, BE LEERY, AND PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION. I have never in my life been let down so much, only to find out that in the end, all that really matters to these crooks is getting every cent they can from you, even if it means you not learning a thing or getting certified (due to their apathy and excessive greed). I strongly encourage each of you reading this to really do your homework regarding institutions such as these. As far as that goes, you should also take the same approach regarding vehicles you are considering purchasing (and ESPECIALLY dealerships), loans, banks, real estate, and the like. If nothing else, this experience in Hell has let me know that it is always better to be one-up with anyone who's trying to sell me something. Also, if you should contact these people to inquire about their programs, expect to be called back repeatedly until you enroll in at least one course (which will run you over $1100 before it's over). Should you then actually decide to enroll, READ ALL THE FINE PRINT BEFORE SIGNING!!! This is something I cannot begin to stress enough. Finally, if you are not able to pay everything up front and need to make payments via credit card, expect to recieve calls from the credit card companies until you have paid the last penny (regardless of you not actually learning anything that these swindlers have to 'offer' in their programs).

In short, the TechSkills company is nothing short of a group of professional bull*hitters trying to take you (and everyone else) for every penny they can.in short, that's basically what you need to know about these crooks. Do yourself a HUGE favor; enroll in community college, do your homework regarding both the classes and the instructors by asking current and former students of the courses and especially the teachers. You will come to find pretty quickly that you will either be extremely greatful that you made the effort, or extremely sorry that you didn't (or that you didn't do it enough). I hope this bit of information proves to be helpful for anyone considering entering trade school in the field of computers (let it also be a chance for you to do your homework on the other computer schools as well). To conclude, please don't make the same mistake I did. Help yourself out by researching this school and every other situation you encounter regarding large amounts of money. Belive me, you'll be so glad you took the time. Good luck to everyone out there trying to find their nitch.
