My check was said to have gotten lost in the mail Ammon Idaho

I joined CashCrate I think in March.

I completed MANY offers. Some I received credit for, however, for the MAJORITY, I received absolutely credit.

As far as I am concerned, I did just about everything I needed to do, to make sure my offers are approved and I receive credit.

When I got soooo frustrated about this, I contacted CashCrate, and they sent me an email with further instructions on how to make sure my offers are credited.

The said day I received their email, I followed the instructions and for the FIRST time, I received credits for 12 of the many offers I did. However, this was short lived, as the days following, I stopped getting regular credits. Could it be that CashCrate receive payments for the offers we do and they withhold our money? That is how it seems to me.

Anyway, after going through all the stress of completing the offers, waiting for them to be credited, the day finally came for CashCrate to process my check. I was soooo excited, I was counting the days in which I would get my check.

My check was processed May 16 and mailed May 20; today is June 15 and I still have not received my check. CashCrate's explanation is that my check may have been lost in the mail. And I would have to wait 90 days for the check to expire, before they can write another. It took me 8 emails to support and 4 Private Messages in the cashcrate forum, before I could get that stupid reply.

Re: Have not received my check for April

Today will make it 3 weeks since it was mailed. It seems to me that it got lost somewhere in the system, as in the US, it takes roughly 2-3 days for mails to be delivered.

It is now 6 days before my next check is processed. If I do not receive my April check (which now seems unlikely) by Friday, June 13. Can you have it cancelled and have one check drawn totaling the amount of April's and May's earnings?

Unfortunately, to cancel the checks costs money. This is why they are made to expire after 90 days and we can send a new check at that time (mid August).

Re: Have not received my check for April

Let me get this right; am I to understand that, if I do not receive the check you told me was sent, I am going to have to wait 90 days before another one can be issued?

Re: Have not received my check for April

Unfortunately, that is the case. It really isn't our fault if the USPS loses the check and so we have done our best to provide a reasonable means of resending the check without anybody getting stuck with a fee to cancel to missing check.

Re: Have not received my check for April

Or maybe the company/person sending out the checks just didn't send it (of course not intentionally, but mistakenly). Maybe it got lost in your system.

This would have been my first check. I am VERY disappointed.

I sat down, completed all those offers, EXPECTING to get my FIRST check that I earned. And, now I am being told my check may have been lost in the mail, so, I should just sit and wait NINETY days for another check to be mailed. Obviously, I have no choice but to wait on the money I earned. Hopefully, it wont get lost in the mail again.

Whenever I post a message in CashCrate's forum, to get a feedback from other members, on whether they have experienced this problem, CashCrate remove my message.

Re: Had to remove a post

Dana,

How can you be sure the postal service lost my check? How do I know it was actually sent? May be some error was made by the person submitting the checks, and mine was inadvertently not sent.

I posted in the forum, because I wanted to know if others had experienced the problem I have.

It is VERY unfair that I sat, worked on those offers, expected to be paid when I should have, and now I am being told my check was lost in the mail and I have to WAIT 90 days before I can get the money that I earned.

I can never refer anyone to CashCrate because of this experience. This check would have been my first check.

It took several emails (which were never responded to), and a few PMs before I could even get a response regarding my check. (I am not blaming you, you were quite helpful with regards to responding to the PMs I sent you, and with me getting a response from CashCrate Greg).

I am just so mad about this. It's ridiculous.

I had requested that the check that may have been sent be cancelled. I was told no, I have to wait NINETY days. What if somebody finds that check and cashes it? Does this mean I wont be paid? I would have thought that it would have made sense to cancel instead of risking some unscrupulous person cashing my check.

Telling me I HAVE TO wait NINETY days for another check CAN NOT be classified as 'working with me on this'.

Dana, I know this is out of your hands, but thanks telling me you removed my post.

I have communicated with our Support Lead, CashCrate Greg and I understand he is working with you on this. The reason for the 90 day delay I believe is that the first check has to expire before another one can be issued.

Again, I am very sorry the postal service lost your check.
