This company tried to charge my credit card for a service they provided a year earlier. They weren't approved to charge the credit card. Luckily it didn't go through and the company sent me a bill for aservice i did not authorize. The company was informed that there services were not needed and the invoice was not paid. They sent it to a collection agency. There are so many companies now that seem to think they can go on forever getting paid by the month or the year for some useless service they think they are providing. Free credit.com uses the bait and switch tactic as well. You go to their site thinking you can get a free credit report, just as required by law, for example in Georgia twice per year.instead you are signing up for a credit monitoring service which is a monthly fee. And then when you go to their site to manage your "account" with them, it's all about ne sales instead of working with the services already purchased. Www.godaddy.com is over the top with this tactic. It's almost impossible to navigate the site and figure out what is already purchaed.
