James was contacted to do the back end programming of an eCommerce site for me and promised to do it in 21 days for an agreed fee - and I gave him a deposit. Nothing happened for two weeks and he kept promising me it would be all completed by the end, but he showed me nothing along the way. The date came and he had nothing but stories and excuses. When I fired him off the job, he complained that I was being unreasonable. I explained that he cost me time and money and I would then have to go out and hire someonelese and this would kill our deadline for launch. He offered to pay me back - this was in November. Nothing happened and he could not come up with paying me back for two months, so in January I started researching him and finding current clients he was working with and got them to pull their jobs from him and he wrote me ENRAGED. He could not believe I was accessing his life and causing him to lose jobs and money - so he got straight and began to pay me back. I worked out a $50 a week payment that he kept up for several weeks, but now it has been almost a month and nothing from him.
