I gave my card number to supabill to verify age of 18, for a free half hour access to a web site. I cancelled the option to continue membership within the half hour.
I got an entry on my next credit card statement for a bill from XBILLCO.com. My card company contacted them on a conference telephone call, and they said that I had taken a months membership with supabill, and they were one and the same company.
They claim that there were 2 choices for cancellation; 1. Cancel immediately 2. Cancel after 1st month's subsription, and I had chosen the latter, and that they had notified me by email of the transaction.
I am certain that I requested immediate cancellation and I have no record of recieving their email.
