A Wireless Broadband Company, very poor service, lots of conection problems, rude customer service dept

2 years ago i signed up for t6broadband. I was told at time of intall that i would own the equipment and they would break up the equip. Charge over 3 months. That charge was approx $79 per month. I was told that the equip would be mine after questioning the $240 instalation. As with a lot of people i didn't read the contract. (just transfered, new job title, new area etc) my bad. For 18 or so months i had no occation to contact them, they deducted $45 per month from my account and i had service. Last winter t6b purchased a new email system and installed it. I was w/o email service for 2 weeks, so long in fact that an old friend called the local police to do a "well person" check to make sure i was ok. During that time i spent hours on the phone and chatting live trying to fix my email. They bottom lined it as my fault since i had no technical background and that the had had no other problems or complaints. (several of my friends had the same problems). Well after 2 weeks we finally got it taken care of (apparently there was a missing piece of software that i didn't download) you guessed it - this was my fault because i didn't understand the terminology.in jan i received a notice saying that if i wanted to keep their new and improved email system i would have to pay a monthly fee of anywhere from $3 to $9 depending on the package. Thankfully my 2 year contract was about up. I sent 6 emails and called 4 times to try to discontinue my service on feb 10. I received no responces although i requested one at each contact. I went to sign on - on the 3rd and could not. I called customer service and was told that they cancled my service ahead of time. (don't care i had already signed up for another co.) at that time i asked the customer svs person if their was anything i needed to do. He said no i was already paid up and nothing further was required of me. A couple of weeks later i advertized the equipment for sale. I received a rude responce from some guy (brad middleton) claiming to be an installer from t6b (he was). Telling me he would have me arrested etc. I told him to have a copy of the contract sent to me and i would be happy to let him have it back. 2 days later i noticed that he had come on my property and removed the tranciever. I called customer svs, and finally received a copy of the original contract, and yes i did sign it stating that the equip was loaned. With the contract was a letter from valerie cole a t6b representative stating that mr middleton was in fact an employee and she had decided to immediately remove the equipment because " we decided it was better to retrieve the equipment and be done, in light of the circumstances". She went on to inform me that there was a power supply that went with the antenna, worth $25 plus taxes that she will bill me for. I called her several times and told her (via voice mail) that she was welcome to the power supply and if they had made an appointment to pick up the equip. Like i suggested they could have picked it up at that time. She says" we do reserve the right to bill for that, even if a bill has not yet been sent. Now i realize i was incorrect in thinking that the equipment was mine. And i have made no attemp to keep it or retrieve it once being notified. My issues with the co.
1. Thru no fault of mine i was w/o email for 2 weeks - even when requested no offer of rebate was forthcoming.
2 after no email for 2 weeks they wanted me to pay extra for a system that was very difficult to use
3 when i finally talked to a person about being disconected and asked if there was anything else i needed to do was told nothing about returning equip.
4 when i tried to sell equip (at that time i reasonably thought it was mine) i was treated like a common theif.
5 and even now, a month later i'm still not done as they want to bill me for equipment that they are welcome to come and pickup.

I was in the service industry for most of my career and it troubles me that some companies make no attempt to please the cust. I realize that i'm not a customer anymore but i meet lots of people and i have a mouth and not affraid to express my oppinion.

If you have an option do not use t6b!!!
