James King, Kyle Swank And Rachael, Justin, Jason Received $699 downpayment on computer, didn't ship computer, refused to issue a refund and now claims that the account has been closed and the money has been returned. Farmersville

I have been dealing with Dojo Systems since October. I filled out their application on line and received a phone call several days later telling me I had qualified. I ordered their Best laptop and gave them a down payment of $699.00.

After several weeks of waiting I called and spoke with James, [seems to be the only guy there]. He told me that it would be a while longer and he would call me when he shipped it. I was tired of waiting and requested to cancel the order and receive my money back. I was informed that it was against company policy to give refunds but he would give me an in house credit that I could spend on any of their other merchandise. [They don't have any other merchandise, ha! ] I lost it after that and told him I would contact the Better Business Bureau and any other source of help I could find.

After a while I called back and apologized to James. I told him I would wait for the computer and please expedite the order, he agreed. Several days later I call and was told that my computer had come in but it was the wrong computer. It didn't have the 4 Giga Bytes of RAM it was supposed to have. He told me he would reorder the computer and call me when he shipped it.
I was livid at this point and went to my bank, explained the situation to them and file a fraud charge. The bank gave me my $699.00 back and began an investigation of Dojo Systems, Inc. That was the middle of November.

Just before Christmas I discovered the bank had taken the $699.00 back. I called the bank to find out why and they said that their investigation had shown that I gave Dojo permission to withdraw the money from my account and there was nothing more they could do.in order to receive my money I would have to either deal with Dojo myself or obtain council.

I call Dojo again and explained to them what had happened with and bank and why and I was informed that according to their accounting department my account had been closed and the money had been return. I asked for a tracking number for the returned money and he told me he'd have to get with accounting and would call back.

Now, my wife enters the picture. She calls and explains why we need the money returned; that we don't need the computer and would it be possible that she could receive a refund. James told her he didn't know why that would not be possible and he would get back to us. We waited several days and called back. This time they said they need copies of my checking account to prove where the money had been taken out by DoJo; when the money had be returned to our account by the bank; and when the money had been taken out by the bank.

We Faxed that information to them on January 25th. We have not heard from Dojo Systems as of January 30th. They have stopped answering their phone except with an answering machine. And we have yet to receive a computer or out money or a letter granting us a credit, NOTHING!
