I enjoy patronizing people who are small business owners. And I was looking into joining mydollarshop since it seemed like a reputable business. But first I decided to order something from them to see how the service was. I ordered $20 worth of merchandise on the 17th of December to arive for Christmas. Christmas came and went. On the 26th I got a package with dots and utility knives (neither one was actually part of my order).in fact the shipping center that shipped these items was not even marked from mydollarshop, so I cannot be certain that they even came from there, also there wasn't an invoice or anything identifying the products came from their warehouse. I called customer care, and sent an email. The email was responded via an automated response telling me to send an email to another address. That email was not responded to. Customer care gave me the run around and said the package was shipped via 3 day FedEx. When I told them I received something via 3 day FedEx they said that was my order. I informed them that it had nothing I ordered in the box. They told me I had to speak with returns before I could get my order. However they only gave me an email and said returns did not take phone calls. I sent an email to returns on Friday. It is now Wednesday and still no email from returns. Oh and when I spoke to customer care today they told me that 3 of my items I ordered were no longer available. So I asked them for a refund... Which they promised, once I get an email from returns and they receive the products which aren't mine back at their shipping facility. So according to them if everything goes as planned I might get a refund on my order in a couple weeks. Almost a month after the order was place. However according to their website's policy if it takes them longer then 1 month for me to receive my order I cannot get a refund on my order. Their website states that it is one month from the purchase date (17th of December) not one month from the delivery date. So right now I have spent 10 phone calls and 4 emails, plus hours of my time and still have no answers. My suggestion is to stay away from this company.
