A TOTAL RIPOFF-you will pass their EASY slow test, then after paying $397.00 you receive tapes that you cannot slow down fast enough to type. The MT Professional Digital Transcription System is a JOKE! All it is a small downloadable thing that can record voices. You hear tapes that are very muddled and no one possibly can hear what word to type. The device does not slow down slow enough for you to even hear the words, or even to type legible words. Then they tell you you'd be better off to PAY MORE MONEY TO BUY THEIR FOOT PEDAL. I am sure!
When I ordered it, I was truly disappointed. I emailed them to try to get my money back and all they told me to do was keep it as it could be used by other programs. I don't even like the darn thing! I won't be using it at all. How will it help me? They also told me that there was no REFUND and to re-read again where they say it on their websight. They get their money, you get nothing and they are smiling all the way to the bank. They would not even reconsider to refund my money. I also explained that right after my purchase, the thing did not work, how frustrated I became and also circumstances in my life changed and I could not take their course as I originally planned. They did not even care.
This is a lot of money to just give away. They have a thing going here to make a lot of money off of suckers like me. Don't you be their next victim. This truly is a rip-off company. There are a few glitches in your statement. At least be accurate if you're going to complain in public. You seem disgruntled and decided to blame Transam Associates for your problems.
There are no tapes used. It's a Digital Transcription System! You state no one possibly can hear a word to type, but there are several people that hear and understand these digital recordings everyday. You can control the volume and speed with your keyboard or maybe you should've purchased the foot pedal they offered. Again not Transam Associates fault but your own!
You use the MT Professional Digital Transcription System. What did Transam Associates tell you the MT Professional Digital Transcription System was? It's a program you download in order to receive digital transcription. Don't see anything misleading in that statement. The foot pedal is available to help you slow down the dictation and control the volume.
There is never a refund on software no matter where you purchase it, especially after you use it. You stated yourself that this is written in the website in which you purchased the software. Maybe you should've read it and understood the facts before you purchased it. You can't blame someone else because you didn't read.
You state that I also explained that right after my purchase, the thing did not work. Did you contact their tech support? They offer free tech support for people that have problems downloading. They offer you assistance all the way through the program. Again, you seem to be blaming others for your own downfalls.
I personally think you summed it up completely when you stated circumstances in my life changed and I could not take their course as I originally planned. The fact of the matter is that when your circumstances change again (as they usually do) and you are able to do this, Transam Associates will be there to help you pick up where you left off. So you are not out any money just because you can't continue at this time. Where else can you learn a profession to do at home at your own speed for this price? You might want to give Transam Associates another try!
This is no reason to complain or call someone a rip off! Be honest with yourself and everyone else. You just want someone to blame.
