I was web designer for Cherryone (aka CherryOne, Cherry One, Cherryone Web Design) in Chicago for three months in 2003. After three months, I could no longer accept the constant bounced pay checks and low wages.
A month or so after I quit, everyone in the company (from designers to the Vice President) left simultaneously for the same reasons. From what I understand, this is common occurence at Cherryone.
If you search this website and the Chicago Better Business Bureau (http://chicago. BBB.org/WWWRoot/Report. Aspx? Site=46&bbb=0654&firm=88006648), you will see there have been many complaints filed against Cherryone. Given how the company treats its constantly-rotating employees, it should not be a surprise that one could not expect reliable service from Cherryone.
