I listed a vehicle on eBay Motors that auctioned off to a winning bidder who never paid or contacted me. EBay Motors said they would credit any fees charged for listing the un-sold item. I repeatedly contacted the winning bidder and eBay Motors to get the charges for listing dropped. EBay Motors ignored all of my efforts and showed my vehicle as sold and waiting for payment for over a month (still shows this!) and debited $90.45 from my checking account anyhow. I filed a complaint with eBay and eBay sent me a copy of my complaint and otherwise ignored everything.
Do Not do business with eBay Motors folks. They are a big fat ripoff! There is no way to contact them other than emails. I tried chatting and calling on the phone and was told that there was no record of my notifying eBay Motors of a non-selling item. When I tried to exercise my second-chance option to sell to the last bidder prior to the winning bidder, I was denied access by eBay and told that only eBay did that. Not eBay Motors!
I got charged $90.45 for six weeks of aggravation and was taken advantage of via the internet. I don't know what country they call home but it sure isn't the USA! If it is they ought to be ashamed of themselves conducting internet commerce by ripping off a fellow American like a foreign terrorist enterprise! I am ashamed to have ever trusted eBay. And I assure you I will never do anything with eBay ever again! They are crooks, don't trust them my fellow Americans! You'll get burned.
