When I checked my bank account information, there was a charge of $29.95 by Privacy Matters 123 that I wasn't aware of. I never enrolled or even asked for any kind of service from them. I called 877-993-6264, and spoke with Alice. When I asked her to explain why I was charged for a service that I never requested, she told me that I shopped on a website called Spendonlife.com, and being that they are affiliated, I was automatically enrolled for their services. I don't even recall being on spendonlife.com let alone buying anything from that site. I don't even know how they got access to my bank account information. Is that legal?
I have to admit, "Alice" was very cooperative, and assured me of a refund which will be back in my account in 2 business days. I'll have to check back in a few days. She also put me on the do not call, email, or mail list. It's funny because after all that, she tried selling me a package for their services. Guess the girl's only doing her job. Lol.
