Typical example of you can not trust people behind a website just because their website looks professional enough!..internet

Hello,

I have been working on the internet since its existence in life, and have lost a few bucks sometime, but never got such ripped off. After a search on a dating software for one of my latest projects, I felt that evercurrent.com professionally designed website was the solution, especially that they seemed to have had online for a few years (with a first community website named "bettymeetsboris.com", but now I wonder if there were the same owners...).

As you could easily notice from most of the emails exchanged between Becky (Evercurrent's one and only "employee" apparently) and myself, that can be read on "evercurrent.org" a website created by another victim of Evercurrent.

That's the way they proceed: you have to pay for a "turn-key" business website that they pretend you to have entire control from home; this is simply a dating website they deliver for about $ 500.00 paid through Paypal only; the scam is that website is very barely functional; it is full of bugs and limitations and that you can never get properly changed or fixed because in fact, they are unable to do it! The problem is that you completely depend on evercurrent to manage your business, not only for the design but also for the hosting that you must pay another $ 4-500s (one year in advance!) but you can never make the money because evercurrent's tech support is almost "zero", as you can only get intentionally confusing responses to your questions and emails... Until you start finally to discover the game these people are playing and it becomes too late for you (and they well know it!) to dispute the first charge (s). I also found out that Paypal don't want to help because they protect the privacy of their sellers...

My advice and lesson about it is to make a serious physical (not only online) search about the credentials of any new company you want to make business with on the internet; for example, they used to have only one and same person to respond to their phone number on their website evercurrent.com; that person was only friendly responding until I paid for the business, never after again...
