Startup Essentials, A-1 Leasing, Band Corp, U S Merchants
Now that they are getting my money I am nothing! Ripoff! Support disappeared! Fraud! Dallas?

Last August I get a call from a woman who says whe has a client that is looking for someone like me. So I get another call by this gentleman that says he is looking for a few good people to work in his company. That he is going to put his money into these people and train them to be successful Internet entreprenuers because the way they make their money was through processing orders from your website. That he only accepted about 20 - 30 out of every 1000 applicants and that he wanted me and he would train me and by the time he was done with me I would be a very successful Internet Entreprenuer.

They set me up to take $134 out of my bank account and the next day I had a notebook full of cd's and a laptop delivered. I got busy right away. I began reading the material and following the plan. It was a little confusing. Not much instruction on how to get started but I eventually got started.

At first they started strong. They made me feel like they were there for me. We had weekly conference calls two nights per week, Daily motivational emails and I was in touch with some of the people supposedly on top of the company. I worked hard and got through the first 3 paths of their journey.

Then they changed the journey. I was encouraged to go through the new and "improved" jpurney. So I started over and went through the new journey. I flew by most of it because it was just a repeat of the old one. Just a new interface. Support slowly dropped off. I wasn;t getting as many calls to check and see how I was doing.

I built my website, twice. Once under the old journey and once under the new one. And was ready to start marketing. Then I get to path 4 of the journey... Meanwhile they are setting up my merchant account to process credit cards through my website and I was told it would be $20 a month if I had no sales. My first month they take $80... So I thought it was because we were setting up the account. The next month it was $80 again. Now they have $134 plus $80 a month...

Then I get into path 4 of the journey and they have OptiGroove there to tell me that I need their services at $2500 a pop or I will not succeed. I ask if I can do it myself. They say sure. And send me to another website where I spend $249 for a do-it-yourself program... Meanwhile... Support is retreating... Conference calls have been cancelled first to one night per week. Then we had a two week break and then they come back and say they are going to make the calls podcasts instead of live calls...

The daily spark stopped the 23rd of August. And when I emailled support as late as 2 weeks ago you get back an unsigned email stating that they have changed the way they do support. When I questioned why the emails were unsigned they said that they were changing the way they providesupport and then list 4 automated options for support issues.

I feel like now that they have my money coming out of my account locked into an "uncancellable" lease they are no longer interested in providing any type of support. They do not care if we make it in business that it was just a farce for getting your money and once they have you all locked in then their true colors come shinning through.

This is a big joke. I was shown by a lady that does Internet Marketing and has been doing it for 12 years that nothing Startup Essentials shows you how to do in the jopurney will get you in front of your customer base and help you to become a successful Internet entreprenuer. Not without the $2500 program from Optigroove if even then. They give you just enough information to make you hungry for your own business and they feed it just long enough to get what they want and then they cut you loose. And then they have their own biusiness associates like Optigroove their to take their share of your money as well...

They put up just enough smoking mirrors to get you to the point of signing up for that merchant account because like they said in the begining they make their money through credit card processing... Now I see why... You don;t neccessarily have to process orders on your account for them to make their money. They are making their money just by you signing up for that merchant account...

I would love to hear from others going through similar situations
