Rip off scam false advertisement

IN 2005 I took the "online skills challenge" on the website for computertraining.com. Of course, I passed. Many people can pass the challenge, since they are computer basics.

I enrolled in the school in July. About a month or so in, I realized it wasn't for me. I wasn't grasping much of anything. We moved along at an expeditious rate of speed, and I didn't even get my first test taken until October. I had talked to the instructer, and he pursuaded me to stay, saying that he thought I could do this.

I do have to mention, that at the time, the articles on the the radio stated "become a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer in as little as 6 months". Well, needless to say, I don't think anyone in my class has even gotten as far as becoming a Microsoft Certified Systems ADMINISTRATOR (which requires 4 tests). It is very difficult, and in actuality, most of us only passed the 1-3 tests that we HAVE taken, simply because of a few websites that give you the actual questions and answer that are on the test. Otherwise I'm not sure if anyone in my class of 20 would even have gotten as far as we did.

The online skills challenge had absolutely nothing to do with the information that was crammed into our heads. One of the poor guys in my class fixed windows for a living and he knew computer basics. He took the course and struggled through it. He was so lost it was pitiful. He will never use what he learned. No one wanted to hear us say that we wanted to quit, or that it wasn't for us. We also didn't have much of an option once we signed up. There really wasn't much backing out, because the majority of the debt would still be there.

Just the other day (August) I noticed that now they don't say "become a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer in as little as 6 months". Now it's "become a microsoft certified profressional". Go figure. Because that's probably all they can guarantee you and it's the easiest test to take.

Not only that - the money that they tell you you'll make? Yeah right.in my current position, I would have to take a pay cut to go into the computer networking field. How am I supposed take a pay cut and continue paying the obscene schooling cost of over $300 a month?
They are liars and cheaters. It is a scam, and nothing will become of it. Yeah, I saw the pictures of all the successful graduates. Anyone can pose for a picture. Doesn't mean they actually graduated from there - or said any of those things.

I would NEVER recommend computertraining.com to ANYONE. You will get nowhere. If you can turn a computer on and shut it down, you're qualified for they're class. If you can't keep up? Well, sorry for your luck, but thanks for your $25,000. Next!

Someone needs to file a class action lawsuit. I want my money back!!! It is now 2007. I still haven't obtained my MCSA, I've been studying for the last test for that certification for over a year, now. I'm in debt to my eyeballs because of this stupid school, and once you graduate - you have NOTHING. No tutoring, no assistance, no nothing.

PLUS - the Mechanicsburg, PA school I went to shut down. How convenient. They are no more. So what does that tell you??
