In May Rebecca Carr contacted me about a great opportunity for someone like me to start a home based business. After several calls between us, she had me thrilled to start this program. I then signed an agreement for a laptop computer and a credit card processor. Guess what! You don't need this equipment for any reason! All the work I tried to do was done on my home computer. If I needed support from Startup or Colony One, the people I talked to were less knowledgeable than me. Six months of frustration I thought everything was good to go, I tried going on-line. Startup called to ask what I was doing. I was not ready yet. What?!? I had not done any work and was not complete with my training. What training?!? Rebecca Carr did not mention anything about this. Nor did she say anything about the additional fees. She made it sound like everything was included with my monthly lease payment. I guess that is why she got the big commission check. Stupid me, next time I will not be pressure into something like this. I'll do some homework first.
If anyone in the Southeast part of Wisconsin is interested, I was planning to contact channel 6 about this and warn others before they get scammed.
