EBay Seller Phineas228
Sells money making report (word document) which does not work BEWARE! Ripoff

Note: You can skip to the second to last paragraph to read why this information doesn't work

A few weeks ago, I purchased information from this Ebay seller titled "You will Be Receiving $75 Payments". The seller claimed the information could do the following:

"Are you ready to start making real money from the comfort of your home, by doing nothing more than sending a simple name and address to a private location that I tell you about, then you make an easy $75.00 for just doing that one simple thing."

After purchasing the information, I was quite unhappy about it but nevertheless tried out the whole system.

The Laser Eye Surgery Industry (Lasik) is highly competitive and doctor's are always seeking to bring in new customers. This is where you come in, as you will be selling them leads for $75 dollars a lead. Yes you heard me, $75 dollars EACH LEAD!!! Is it just me, or is this completely wack? Honestly, do you think the doctors were born yesterday and couldn't figure out that you can buy 50 leads from a REAL marketing company for almost half that price?

Heres how the system works:
1. You ORDER leads from a third party company for Lasik doctors in your area and people who wear eyeglasses (This is at least an additional $50 out of your pocket) and also free online gift vouchers (an additional $50).
2. You send out the pre-written letter included in the information to the Lasik doctors. But get this - the letter is full of grammer letters. How can you expect a REAL doctor to accept your service professionally if you can't even write a real letter? Anyways, it took a bit of revising on my part before I actually sent out the letter.
3. Once you get an agreement from the Lasik doctor (which doesn't happen, I explain in the next paragraph), you are then supposed to send out postcards to the people who wear eyeglasses asking them if they wear glasses and if they would like something free.
4. You can also run an ad in the Sunday newspaper asking people if they wear glasses or contacts - if they do then they qualify for a free gift. They contact you by calling your professional voicemail (not your cell phone, this costs about $8 to set up with a company)
5. Once you get postcards or voicemail, you sell each name to the Lasik doctors for $75

Heres the WORST part of it all.in the information, the author wrote that he targeted San Diego and it was a very responsive market in terms of customers as well as getting doctors to agree with him. Well guess what, I LIVE in San Diego and I sent out letters out to THIRTY EIGHT San Diego lasik doctors; I received ZERO responses from them. What doctor in his right mind would buy a name for $75 when he could probably get 100 names for that price?

In conclusion, even if someone on Ebay has a great feedback rating, it doens't mean he isn't selling crap. I read through most of his feedback and most of the customers didn't actually try it. They just said "oh its interesting, it seems to work" but I didn't read any accounts of people saying they tried it and it worked! So buying this information, I knew it was a bit of a gamble but it's STILL a scam.
