I was receiving horrible e-mails from AFF members asking to meet for sex. After several, I googled Adult Friend Finder. I found the website and was charged 19.99 to view a profile with my stolen myspace photos. I immediately called the company to ask them to remove it. I own a business that primarily deals with school children and my father is a minister. They kept sending me to voice mail. No one ever returned my calls.
I found that I was automatically charged the next month. I went of the profile I made to view the fake one, and saw that credit cards are automatically charged every month. I also saw that they added a "report this photo for abuse" I wish they had a "report this profile for abuse" I constantly reported the photo stating that they were stolen from my myspace.
After 8 months, the profile was not removed, however, the photos were removed and the questionnaire which included vile information of what I supposedly enjoyed sexually were removed. This was not entirely okay with me, but satisfactory.
Recently, I have begun receiving e-mails from AFF members again, and even phone calls from people saying that acquaintances have seen the profile with the myspace photos. They put the profile back up. When my lawyer called AFF, they stated that they did not have the technology to remove the profile. BUT, they have the technology to remove photos and information, and re-instate them again. This company needs a class action lawsuit to teach them that fake profiles need to be removed immediately. It can ruin peoples lives, my credibility with my company is now called into question because of this.
