In December I purchased a gift renewal subscription to a magazine for my husband. My credit card was charged at the time of order. It was supposed to take up to 12 weeks for fulfillment.in early May, I finally emailed bestchoicemags.com to find out the status of the subscription. No response. I tried a different email address for them. No response. I contacted the publisher directly. They had no record of a renewal, and said I'd have to pursue the issue with Best Choice Magazines. Last week I sent a 3rd email, and told them if did not hear from them, I would not hesitate to report their website for fraud. No response.
However, I've suddenly started receiving automated emails from them, reminding me that in 6 months it will be time to renew my subscription! (I guess they are scam artists who like to rub salt in the wound...) I my not have been robbed of a lot of money, but it is the principle of the thing... I will be continuing to pursue this issue with a consumer watchdog group. Buyer beware!
