Archives Clearing House PLC sent me a letter stating that I had an outstanding winning claim of $67,000.00. They deposited $62,139.96 to an escrow account pending claim. The difference ($4860.04) was sent in a check with the original letter to pay the necessary processing fees and sales taxes.
The letter included a number to speak with an account specialist and activate my account. I've called and went through the procedures said by the specialist.
His primary procedure was to have me deposit the check to my bank which I did. At the same time I withdrew 88% out of the check to send to accountants in Durham, NC and Toronto, Canada to take care of the taxes and fees.
My bank sent the check back because there was insufficient funds on their account. Ever since 3/02 the bank doesn't beleive me because im a young person and I was crying alot!!!
