If your with cox, like me and you made the mistake of bundling your services. Well you are in trouble if they go down. My internet has been down since Friday 2/2/07 I had to get up early not go to church as they were SUPPOSED to come to my house between 8am and 10am. When they arrived at 11:45am and half my day was wasted. The "tech" couldnt fix the problem. It required "maintance" from Cox itself. (What was the Svc call for?) Then when I called to check when they planned to have the problem fixed. The ONLY reply I could get is they will have it fixed within the next 5 business days. Yeah ok, well when? How long do I have to get behind in my internet classes for school. When can I tell my teacher I can resume work. Five business days?!? And the kicker is my digital phone still works! Also since, "you dont need to be home when they come" How will I know if it works when I get home? Just hope?
And in the meantime I lose school work, I cant communicate through email. While I wait for my "service providers" to get back to me. If your thinking about using Cox, think again. Once they have you as a customer, they dont give a shit about you...
