I came accross Onlingo as a pop up ad while surfing on a marketing companies site. If you took part in three of the promotions you got a free gift. The Onlingo ad offered learn spanish CD's for the price of shipping only. I thought this would be a good way to brush up on my Spanish. I received the package and for some unknown reason didn't open it yet. I just recently received a SECOND package. My book keeper told me that I had been charged $76.80 for the first set and now the same amount for the second! When I called to inquire I was told this was an ONGOING monthly subscription until I canceled.
I had no idea about this as I was told this information was INSIDE the package that I never opened. Now I can refuse and send back the second set but I own the first set as the 30 day trial period had expired, and that there will be a $9.95 Restocking fee to boot! I NEVER would have done this if I had any idea that it was going to cost me more than the cost of shipping for a one time order. The site I was browsing had no terms and conditions shown as they were pitching products for dozens and dozens of companies and products.
I want to return BOTH sets and get a COMPLETE refund. These people are scum bags.
