The musics members area is a total rip off! They tricked me into membership through DOWNLOAD by making me think I was downloading software for a small fee. It turned out I was purchasing membership to "The Service, " as they put it (cryptic quasi-fascist lingo, eh?). There was no confirmation of my membership purchase on download.com and I suddenly receive an email from these thieves at this mysterious website called www.themusicsmembersarea.com
They have absolutely no phone numbers or addresses on their website and the only way to email them is through their website by using their fraudulent account that they created for you "behind your back." I have been threatened with a $15.00 cancellation fee to terminate my $20.00 account. The fee is allegedly for "handling and services" or some such nonsense—coming from an internet-only "business!" HA. Somebody stop these crooks!
