Rebate ripoff scam

Bought LCD monitor from Tiger Direct.
Filed rebate with original UPC code from box.
They answer back cannot give rebate since no UPC code included.

How can I possibly keep and submit the original UPC code?
All they have to do is "accidentally" lose the UPC code
and they get to keep the rebate.
Don't be a sucker like me-do not ever make a rebate purchase.
