I found a charge on my debit account for $1.97 from PMFastauction of which I did not ever visit contact or give information too. I also had charges of $16.99 and $49.99 from the same company. I contacted my bank imediately and had my debit card shutdown and cancelled. I will get all of my money back but it will take 3 to 10 business days for them to put the money back and drop the NSF fees.
I also contacted my local FBI regional office and talked with a wire fraud agent. I also contacted my local television station and they are going to run a story on it. Hopefully the networks will take a news feed and run it nationwide and shut these thieves down. I also contacted EBay's fraud department since this company uses EBay's logos and name.
If you have had this happen on your debit card, don't think by letting the bank know will solve the problem. Shut the debit card down, and have the bank re-issue you another debit card with a different debit card number. That is the only way you will not have your account hit again and again.
