I too was fooled by Onlingo's site. They claim they will send you a "free" language CD, but after you receive it they start hitting your credit card. Once I realized what they were doing I called to cancel and told them I had notified my credit card to hold payment. The repy was typical of their business practices, "We win 90% of these things because you checked the box." I have spoken to my attorney and he suggested we contact the fraud unit of my county's DA. They haven't gotten anything but the original charge of $9.99 and a random $1.00 that was added a week later. I will NOT pay anymore money to these theives. If they continue to attempt to hit my credit card I will take every legal avenue to take these scam artists down. One box checked does not a case make. Show me it was me and not them who checked the box. I know any reputable company usually asks for a reply to a question to prove you truly understood thier offer. Onlingo is not only NOT reputable (unless you count cronic complaints), they primarily make their money by scamming people by hiding charges and listing their "policies" in tiny print after pages of blather. Stay away, they are crooks!!
