I started service with them when they were known as direcway. Their supposed high speed internet was not the greatest, but the only option I had. I questioned them about moving when I first signed up and they said they would take care of it no fee. 2 1/2 years later I told them I was selling my house and the new owners wanted to use their service. They told me to leave the satellite which was on my roof and the old modem.
I left the old modem (I had been recently sent an upgrade) and the satellite dish in place. Well they did not want to do an install at my new house without a new contract for a year and a huge fee. I told them that is not what I had been told and that I would have to pay them for a new satellite or an early termination fee... So I finally said.."fine, cancel my contract to coincide with the next bill. They canceled it right away and I didn't even have the chance to get my last webmail from them.
Let me add, that most of the time spent with any representative is confusing as their broken English is often hard to understand and often it was hard for me to get my point across.
For the work orders I had done, even when they said there would be no charge, it depended on the worker because they did not have to account for anything.
These people are crooks.
